I was referred to Dr Robertson following a routine BUPA check up and I was blown away by his treatment and his manner. My experience was through initial consultation, further investigation and subsequent follow up. During all of those stages I found him to be compassionate, knowledgable and reassuring - above all human, with clear empathy of how we must be feeling at a scary time. In my case the result was positive however in many others sadly it isn’t. Having read some of the previous reviews I can see how much he has positively impacted his patients lives and experiences. Mine was only a short interaction, but I can think of no better doctor I’d want in my corner. I would highly recommend Dr Robertson.

I visited Mr Robertson after my doctor found a small lump in one of my breasts. During the visit i was very impressed by how Mr Robertson handled my case: he listened to what i had to say; was professional; kind; took the time to explain things and was very quick to put my mind at rest. Fortunately i was lucky to find out that everything was ok and there were no abnormalities. I was extremely happy with the advice that i had been given and for the patience and time invested to explain what could have caused the lump/pain. Throughout the whole time i felt very reassured was extremely happy with the care and consideration i had been shown. Even if my outcome had been different, i feel confident that i would have received excellent support and care from Mr Robertson. Thank you

Mr Robertson is a kind , considerate and thoughtful doctor. He is also very professional and takes his time to explain in great detail , he also considered my wishes at all stages. I had a reduction mammoplasty at the same time of my breast cancer removal a procedure that was explained to me in the greatest detail and I am extremely happy with the result ,it is very obvious that Mr Robertson takes pride in his work and is enthusiastic about his profession. At the time of surgery I was made feel at ease and have received excellent aftercare with the support of a friendly and knowledgeable breast care nurse. Communication has been very clear and concise. Because of his excellent bedside manner and professionalism I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Mr Robertson.

Mr Stuart Robertson treated me for my breast cancer which was diagnosed in March 2020 he took over my care in June 2020 where he explained that I needed a lumpectomy and Therapeutic Mammoplasty to reshape my breast after the cancer has been removed. Mr Robertson drew this out for me so that I fully understood what would happen with this procedure explaining the recovery as well as what could happen should the surgery not be fully successful. Mr Robertson also advised that I may want further surgery in the future for a symmetrising breast reduction to the other breast once the first operation had settled down due to the size difference and that he would gladly carry this out. Mr Robertson answered all the question that I had, giving me full confidence in the approach that he had explained and putting me at ease. I received my operation at the end of June which was totally successful with no problems. I then underwent Radiotherapy to follow up the surgery. Mr Robertson then carried out my symmetry surgery in September which has made a huge different to my wellbeing helping me to put my cancer behind me for which I will be eternally grateful. I now have much smaller breasts now which are healing well with minimal scarring. The healing is improving day by day, the scarring from the first surgery is hardly noticeable and the second one is looking well too. All this took place during a scary time due to the Covid 19 Pandemic but every care was taken to ensure my safety by both Mr Robertson and the hospital. I would highly recommend Mr Robertson for breast cancer surgery and reconstruction work for which he has exceptional skills.
